About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and professional HR Operations Manager to join our Trust central team. Working closely with the HR Business Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, efficient HR service across the Trust.
This is an exciting time to join us, as our continued growth means we are expanding our HR department to support the next phase of the Trust’s development.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor/Officer looking to progress within a supportive, values‑driven Trust.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a comprehensive HR operational service across the Trust
• Act as first point of contact for academy HR queries
• Provide HR advice on attendance, recruitment, probation, appraisal and employee relations
• Lead and support formal HR meetings, including working with unions
• Support disciplinary, grievance, capability and other ER processes
• Maintain accurate HR data and electronic HR records (GDPR compliant)
• Support training, coaching and development of managers
• Assist with TUPE, restructures, redundancy and organisational change
• Promote wellbeing, strong employee relations and a positive HR culture
• Travel across Trust schools as required
About you
• Experience in a HR Advisor/Officer role with strong generalist HR knowledge
• Experience supporting managers with a range of HR matters
• CIPD Level 5 or working towards
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail
• Calm, solutions focused and aligned with Trust values
• Experience in an Education/MAT setting is desirable

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel between schools within our Trust.
This role is permanent at 36 hours per week – term time plus 4 weeks, with an actual pro rata part-time salary of £32,503–£36,956, TMBC Grade G, Points 23–28.
